How many does the cottage sleep?
Moorhayes can sleep up to 9 people (click here for floorpan):
Bedroom 1 = King-size double bed + 1 single bed;
Bedroom 2 = Single bed;
Bedroom 3 = King-size double bed + 1 single bed
Bedroom 4 = Twin single beds
What kitchen appliances are there?
In the kitchen there is an under-counter fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a tall fridge-freezer in the entrance hall.
There is no tumble dryer but there is a drying horse, washing line and pegs.
Is there a travel cot?
Yes - there is a travel cot with a mattress.
Is wood provided for the log burner?
Yes - logs are in the stable just by the parking area.
Can I bring pets?
Yes - the house is pet-friendly but we wouldn’t recommend leaving pets in the garden unattended due to the various types and heights of fencing.
What is the TV set up?
There is a smart flatscreen TV with access to Freeview channels, iPlayer, Netflix etc. You will need to use your own log-ins for any subscription services. There is also a DVD player.
Is there a BBQ?
Yes - there is a charcoal BBQ stored in the stable by the parking area. Charcoal & firelighters aren’t provided.
Where are the nearest shops?
Bovey Tracey (20 min drive) has a small Co-Op, Tesco Express & local independent shops. The closest large supermarkets are in Newton Abbot, which has a Tesco (TQ12 3RN) and an Aldi (TQ12 4PU). However we recommend getting an online shop delivered to the cottage.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes - the cottage has BT broadband which is free for guests to use.
Is there a high-chair in the cottage?
Yes - there is one high chair, suitable for 1yrs +.
Is there secure bike storage?
Yes - there are 2 locked garages that can be used for safe bike storage. Please request this on booking.
