Walking

At Moorhayes, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to walks.

Famous natural landmarks such as Hound Tor, Haytor and Bowman’s Nose are all within walking distance of Moorhayes, as well as a medieval village and Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park.

Cycling

With 3 of the Top 100 Climbs within 10 miles of Moorhayes, it is a superb area for cyclists.

Frequently used in both the Tour of Britain and National Hill Climb Championships, the area is well geared for cyclist and the local community very welcoming.

Beaches

Devon has some of the best beaches in the UK, with Bantham, Teignmouth, Dawlish Warren, Exmouth and many more all within driving distance of Moorhayes.

Bantham is our particular favourite (pictured above) due to its incredible views, soft sand and quiet nature.
